My client is looking for a Rotating Equipment Repair Specialist for its industry leading, fast paced, and growing machining, manufacturing and repair facility in Canadas beautiful Niagara Region. This position requires someone with proven knowledge, experience and ability to perform high end, all-inclusive field and in-shop service and repair for a variety of large and complex rotating equipment projects.

Key responsibilities:

Service equipment including, but not limited to turbochargers, turbines, gear boxes and pumps of all types
Oversight over all rotating equipment work scopes applicable to assigned area of responsibility
Enable successful start-up and continued operation of all rotating equipment
Provide direct technical support in the operation and maintenance of rotation equipment
Develop and endorse work procedures where necessary
Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic expertise to operational equipment
Understand key risks associated with rotating equipment and mitigate these risks to enable successful commissioning and start-up of all rotating equipment
Commitment to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies

Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years' experience in rotating equipment service/repair
Experience using dynamic balancing equipment is preferred
Possess certificate as a Machinist, Industrial Mechanic, Marine Engineer or CET
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong internal and customer relationships that preserve the companys solid reputation
Must be fluent in English
