About this role:

You will support existing ship surveys in the area, for both domestic and foreign flag vessels. Meanwhile, you will pursue continuous professional development to remain fully knowledgeable about the technical considerations that are pertinent to our clients.

You will assess all risks and work in a safe manner at all times, reporting in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations.

You will have:
5 years minimum work experience as an Existing Ship Surveyor for an IACS classification society

A degree or equivalent within a relevant field of study such as marine engineering

Current authorizations for Passenger Ship Safety, ISM/ISPS, MLC . (Management systems standards ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 would be highly valuable)
Ability to work independently from a home base location
Organizational and planning skills, ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
Intermediate or advanced experience using MS Office suite of products: Word, Excel, Outlook
Experience as a Naval Ship Surveyor would be an asset
