Chief Engineer
Fame Fisheries Limited - St. John's, NL
Full-time, Temporary

Acting as Ch. Engineer, the selected individual would be responsible for the following:
Operating and maintaining all shrimp processing equipment
Operating and maintaining refrigeration systems
Operating and maintaining all hydraulic and electrical winch operated systems
Operating all electrical systems for the factory and fishing deck equipment
Operating all PLC operated systems
All duties as normally required for Chief Engineer

Applicants must have the following qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in similar position or as Ch. Engineer of a factory Freezer vessel over 2000 kw.
STCW endorsed 2nd Class Motor ticket
Solid background in Marine electrical systems, particularly electrical winch systems
Experience in repairs of all onboard processing equipment
Experience in repairs of Marine Mechanical and Hydraulic systems

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Experience:
Chief Engineer: 3 years (Preferred)

They don't want a Chief Engineer, they want a factory breakdown mechanic with a 2nd Class to meet the Safe Manning requirements of MPR part 2.
Discourage incest, ban country "music".
