The Edmonton Queen is a 399 passenger paddlewheeler operating on the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton, Alberta.

We are now hiring for Chief Engineer. The Chief Engineer requires Small Vessel Machinery Operator – Restricted (SVMO-R) certificate.

Short and long term positions are possibilities. Our on-water operating season is from now until approximately October. The parent company of the Edmonton Queen is an industrial paint manufacturer—there may be other employment opportunities with us outside of the sailing season.

Licensed candidates must hold a valid Transport Canada Certificate of Competency, relevant to their position, including valid STCW MED certificates.

We are also seeing other personnel with MED A2 certification.

Applicants must authorized to work in the Canada without sponsorship.

We will operate all day Thursday to Sunday, and likely Wednesday evenings. 40-50 hours per week.
