Summary:

Provide the technical service for MAN Diesel engines in the workshop and on seagoing vessels and power plants.

Actively take part in renew and develop of our service level and style.

Key Job Responsibilities:
The employee is responsible for the job done in according to MAN quality standard.
Provides technical service installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, overhauls
and modernization for engines and turbochargers manufactured by the company and affiliated companies on seagoing vessels and power plants.
Promote and keep-up the reputation of our company on highest level.
Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend
actions.
Able to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.
Being able to research, design, evaluate, install, operate, or maintain mechanical
products,equipment, systems or processes to meet requirements.

Required Education: Qualified as marine or mechanical at technical level or higher.
Required Experience: 3 to 4 years of professional experience in the same field and position or 5 years in similar field and responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in wet, humid, hot conditions, near moving mechanical parts.
Working in an engine room where other engines are running, and dealing with high temperatures,humidity, vibrations, and loud noises.

Competencies:
Knowledge of 4-st and 2-st engines and possibly turbochargers and propellers.
Structure, working processes and procedures within MAN Diesel & Turbo Chile Ltd.
Outgoing and motivated to connect with a wide range of different people.
Organizational skills, flexibility and customer minded oriented.
Assure to follow internal MAN rules and regulations.
Team player.
