Require a 2CM (Canada) with STCW . May accept a 3CM (Canada) and seek a dispensation to staff the position. Ship is operating in support of an offshore survey. Diesel Electric ship with 4 ME (Fairbanks Morse). The Second Engineer reports to the Chief Engineer for watchkeeping and maintenance duties and is a part of a crew of 14.
