The Canadian Lifeboat Institute (CLI) is looking for an experienced engineer to act as a volunteer shore engineer, a casual position that would help to provide knowledge and leadership to vessel crew. This position may be well suited to retirees or anyone looking for a hobby.

CLI is a not for profit organization that conducts SAR and commercial escort in the Fraser River during gillnet fisheries. The entire operation operates on a volunteer basis and is not a 24/7 endeavour. You can find more information on their website: http://canadianlifeboatinstitution.org/

Those interested in volunteering, please contact Brian Cook, director at CLI, [email protected].
