We are currently searching for qualified Watchkeeping Engineers to join our team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, Watchkeeping Engineers are responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the generators, general service, drinking water, ballast, bilge and fire pumps, bow thruster hydraulics and diesel engine as well as all hoisting equipment in the engine room or on deck. As well to ensure documentation of all maintenance carried out is kept up to date in the planned maintenance system and/or the vessel files.
Candidates must possess:
Fourth Class Engineer, Motor Ship issued by Transport Canada
STCW Certificates
Marine Medical issued by Transport Canada
Basic Oil and Chemical Tanker Cargo training or Advanced Oil Tanker Training (preferred)
Canadian passport or permanent residence status
Certificate of Proficiency for Vessel Personnel with Security Responsibilities or SSO
