Hudson Bay Port Company is located in Churchill, Manitoba.
We are a seasonal export Port, averaging June to November.
We are looking for a Marine Engineer for a ship birthing harbor tug. Some overtime is required, flight and accommodations are provided.

Qualifications:
3rd Class Marine Engineer.
Transport Canada Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency
Marine Emergency Duties
Transport Canada Marine Medical
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision, self starter and problem solving capabilities

Key Responsibilities:
Operate main engines, engine room machinery and auxiliary equipment on ship.
Maintain a safe and efficient Engine room watch and monitor machinery performance.
Inspect and conduct scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
Maintain records/log books and prepare reports on engine performance.
Ensure all areas and equipment are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures.
