Well, the Tug was at the dock for 5 days, and we were able to get some work done. Fixed all the exhaust leaks, no more fumes in the engine room. New air cooler for the Port M/E. Had the old one cleaned and they found a hole. Valves/injectors/fuel rack was set up, they were all out. Now the engines don't smoke at all. I guess now I can paint the engine room. It's amazing what can get done when you are at the dock for a few days.

Glad to hear it, now you can make up for it and move your bunk down below and flavour the atmosphere.
Fume free at last.
No more rheumy eyes, no coughing wheezing and barking like you were
cranking over prior to start up every morning.
Wonder if you'll miss it?
No more black looks.
You might run on a few extra years now, better increase that pension pay in every month.

Well I think that all that remains to say is you best hope the wife recognises your new scrubbed look.
You know, bright eyed and bushy tailed.
A new man.
Dig out those old sunglasses for the newly painted engineroom.
No more skivving on the bridge gazing at that P.P.I.

Sounds like Securicor Amoured Van to meet you on the Quay then with your bulging pay packet for the wife I trust.
Straight home mind.
