African Queen

I just watched this for the first time since I was a kid. He had a screwdriver dropped int o the main safety! LMAO. It was fun to watch the little steam plant. I'd love to have one.
I must say, she drove him like a steer to market. There should be a sequel, the old rummie finds a bottle of Gordon's.

I've been advised, from an impeccable source, that there is a passenger tour boat with a Scotch Boiler and a triple expansion engine of some 50 hp up the river which needs a suitably qualified Engineer for the summer season. There is no French (or Qubecoius or Acadian) required, the location is strictly Anglophone. (though there are some tourists, mind, so you might need a smattering of Chinese or Russian)

I'd love to tackle it myself, but, unfortunately, I'm too busy.

First qualification?
A bearing scraper.
And oh, most important, how to use it.
Should narrow down the applicants list.
That's why you don't want the job, you can't find it.
Don't forget the engineers blue.

Hi JK,

Maybe there is something here for you to play with in your retirement:

Should be something there to keep your scraper busy!

Happy New Year,

Big Pete
