TC has now reverted to issuing just the cert as opposed to the passport size booklet ?

Laminated sheets? Wow. How generous of TC. How much does it cost now to write exams?

$35 for written and $55 for orals? Or so...

Honestly though...
I'm too new to the game to have ever had a passport looking CoC... But they looked real proper, much nicer.

You would think that more difficult to forge would be incentive to use the booklets.
Laminated sheets sounds cheesy, eh?!

Where has everyone been? T/C have been giving out those laminated "Legal" size certificates for at least three years or more.
The fun part is finding a binder to hold them. You can't just stuff them in a pocket of a backpack or briefcase with your passport any more

Yeah, when I received my first laminated sheet approx 3 years ago I mutilated it to try'n get it in my discharge book. It didn't go well.

Maybe they should reduce it down to Credit Card size, A Transport Canada Gold Card for Masters and Chiefs, a Silver one for Mates and Seconds, Bronze for watch keepers. They could encrypt all your details in the microchip, and stick your photo on it as well.

you'd think that since passports are being printed, that certificates would be no problem for the Canadian Government. I swear the gears are spinning slower and smaller all the time.
