Can anyone send me a copy of the Transport Canada Ship Safety Bulletins issued in 11.2016 regarding the STCW2010 CoC criteria for engineers, the first TC SSB on the subject. ...and am also looking for a copy of the May 2017 one, the second one on the same subject with minor tweaks.

I seem to have misplaced mine.

You can post here or send to me via PM or email.

Thanks.

have a look here. http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/marinesafety/bulletins-menu.htm

Just plug in the dates you want. 11/2016 applies to deck people and MED refreshers.

Engineers are here: http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/marinesafety/bu ... 09-eng.htm

Thanks JJ, I had a look there, but not finding all I need. In particular i am looking for the 05/2017 one, which is suppose to be archived TC's website, but is not.

And correct me if I am wrong, but was there not two versions of the 05/2017 SSB issued as well?

So if anyone has a hard copy they could scan, or have the pdf version, send me all your versions. thanks.

Martin, I too was looking for the one issued in May.
I emailed directly to TC asking if the archived version could be sent to me.
So far after asking two or three times, I think I've been set to 'ignore'-no one is responding to my emails. I don't know why but there seems to be a reluctance to send out the archived versions. Perhaps I'm emailing the wrong people/department.
If I get a copy, I'd be happy to post it for you.

We'll have to see about that Martin, TCMS head honcho has just retired. Speaking of which, my retirement "do" will be in Celtic Corner, Dartmouth, next Thursday (26th) at 12.

Last time I attended a TC retirement, which we did routinely as a professional courtesy, I was definitely personae non gratis. I stayed anyway lol. It was worth it to hear the retiree called a pig by the admin. I’m still not sure if he wasn’t serious.
