A resource for woman working offshore on vessels and rigs.
There are interesting podcast interviews with some of the ladies.

Why?
It's as if the industry isn't hurting for jobs already, no need to drag a bunch of newcomers into it just because they're "empowered".

Is it, though? (Right now, for now)
I'm being bombarded with job offers.
I'm sure I've respectfully decline 20 different offers in the last 12 or less months.

And women think differently. It's refreshing to get new ideas and viewpoints, it can open your mind sometimes on the way 'things have always been done', for example.

This attitude is tiresome.
Woman have been in the industry for 40+ years and continue to be. It is not a “new” thing. Since you have no idea who is viewing and posting, I suggest refraining from such comments.

Well having given the matter serious thought I have decided that apon review of most of the women's photographs you have depicted over there I for one would be more than willing to serve under them.

Wow! Convincing argument and everything.

I laughed the first time I heard that reasoning and I laugh now.
I don’t have a job because *insert minority of choice”. There will always someone to blame when someone thinks they deserve something and they didn’t get it.
