Re: Marine engineering books for sale
Thanks Martin. Bibliotaco , I often eat there myself. It's the old library building, hence the name.
I'm Gary Hamilton. I was an instructor of yours at PMTI.
I still tell the story of the time I asked you to start up a large diesel engine stored outside the shop. You used an oxy-acetelene rosebud torch in the intake to get it started. It created a great cloud of diesel exhaust which got sucked into the building ventilation system causing the deck officer trainees and administration staff on the third floor to almost shut down the college. Who knew?

Hey Ho, Hi Gary, long time no see. Good to hear your are in the area, maybe Ill give you a shout next time i'm up there.
Well, I forget that particular incident, but sounds about right... =)... apparently that is my signature move, since Ive heard a few people talk about it; ahhh. those deck people panic at everything. When I work with old engine I don't need a laptop, ehehehe.

Re: Marine engineering books for sale
Hey Joe(drake99)
I've got a box of books that you may want to have.
Closing on house sale in a few weeks. Having an
estate sale .. everything's gotta go .. books are free.
The bucket list is completed, As soon as I get
the second jab I'll be ready to fly !!
Would be a shame to throw those books in the
garbage if someone can use them. They weren't
cheap .. sticker on one $146 .. in 1990 $$
So I'll give you a call to see if you want them .
