exam questions
What I am going to do?
1. Disable M.E. (engage turning gear, bleed air from air starting system and etc...) and disable propeller shaft (some shafts have brakes).
2. Run CPP/gearbox pump if you do not have brake on the propeller shaft. Put shaft propeller pitch at "0"
3. Declutch the Engine (if you have clutch)
4. If wheather is harsh and it is a coastal ship tell the captain to call for a tug.
5. If you are at deep see then fix it. You do not have a choice.
Good luck
