OTHER NEWS

- MARI-TECH 2011 - The first meeting of the MARITECH 2011 organizing committee is taking place Saturday February 5. This is probably the earliest a committee has met to plan for a future conference, so there is reason to be optimistic.

- SNAME/CIMarE Joint Meeting - The annual joint meeting with the Society of Naval Archetects and Marine Engineers - North-West Division will take place Saturday April 24. A full day of papers will be presented in the Lower Lounge at Naden.

- BRANCH EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE FOR 2010-2011 - Someone will have to step up to the plate to take over the duties of the Chairperson starting in June 2010 when my three years as Chair are completed.

Sincerely,
