Loofah, or air cleaner element for a diesel driven wrist watch

seen the little round nylon pan scourers used as crankcase breather filters in old Listers.

We used them in the auxiliary smoke tube boilers hotwell to scum out oil and fuel. Of course in the main boilers you would have the LP and HP filters.

Easy to see you were on a Government ship, we Merchant types had to use old newspapers.
Discourage incest, ban country "music".

Actually this was on a commercial ship. It just wasn't in the stone ages you were in JollyJack.
