THE FRANKLIN EXPEDITION WAS A SIGNIFICANT, AND TRAGIC EXPEDITION IN CANADIAN MARITIME HISTORY HISTORY

THE SIR JOHN FRANKLIN IS ABOUT TO START A CONTEMPORARY ERA OF OCEANOGRAPHIC EXPLORATION AND SCIENCE RESEARCH

On Thursday, 19 September, the Vancouver Island CIMarE will have its first meeting of the 2019-2020 season.

We will be privileged to have a presentation about the recently-delivered addition to the Coast Guards fleet,

THE CCGS JOHN FRANKLIN

The presentation will be given by the ship's Senior Engineer, Mr. Ryan Moore.
It will be an insightful opportunity to learn about the systems and capabilities of the vessel!

As usual, the meeting will convene at 1900 in the lower lounge of the Naden Naval Officer's Wardroom
near the dockyard entrance, at 1586 Esquimalt Road.

Members often arrive early to share a beverage with colleagues in the upstairs lounge.
Spouses and guests are always welcome at branch meetings.

Hope to see you there---------
