This exciting role will see you working with our vessel engineers, support crew and Operation team in managing our marine fleet assets. As the Technical Manager you will be leading your Senior Onboard Management Team (SOMT), dealing with; technical/ operational matters, including preserving vessels & equipment, commercial competence, originating long-term corrective/preventive actions in order to avoid recurrence, monitoring, resolution of all technical problems, preparing, managing, and controlling the yearly R&M budgets and CAPX budgets.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
On site Risk Management
Act as project owner's representative using project management skills, experience, and methodologies to lead/manage projects via effective planning, resource procurement, meeting planning/facilitation, conflict resolution, risk mitigation, status reporting, etc.
Plan, create and oversee deliverables such as schedules, specifications, and budget reports
Engage effectively with stakeholders to reach a mutually acceptable agreement on project objective, scope, deliverables, timeframes, resources, and outcomes
Drive and maintain the process for initiating new project requests and prioritization
Ability to work collaboratively at all levels to drive ideas, projects, and deliver results
Provide motivation, direction, guidance and priority setting at team level
Drive the decision-making process related to business processes or deliverables within the project context
Facilitate and/or participate in process improvement brainstorming sessions
Provide timely updates to appropriate stakeholders regarding project delivery progress, issues and barriers, developing risks and current timeline status
Conduct post-implementation review and ensure learnings incorporated into future projects

Minimum Qualification
10 years proven experience in Senior Management positions in Heavy industry, and/or General Project management with power generations type projects. Preference will be given to those with Marine Experience.
