Title: Un-assumingly powerful Date: February 2006 Location: At sea, Gulf of Mexico Description: Few people ever see these spaces; the engine room of a large passenger ships. This is the port side shaft tunnel of the Rhapsody of the Seas. The propulsion shaft turns up to 147 rpm, transmitting 17 megawatts of power, to one of two, four bladed propeller.
