Description: Quebec City fire department mounts a large response to a ship fire. The Svitzer Bedford was towing a barge in the St Lawrence River when a fuel line on the main engine ruptured and caused a significant engine room fire. Tugs from Group Ocean responded, and towed the Bedford, and its tow, to the Port of Quebec where a large response from the local fire department finish putting the fire out. The crew reportedly abandon ship, to the Coast Guard 47 foot cutter, Cap Tourmente.
