Retiring the retarded

Well I finally retired the old bulletin boards. They served us well, but were very nasty with the pop ups and irrelevant ads. I save most of the topics that came up in discussion, so hopefully we will see them pop up in a wiki style area, wouldn't that be nice.

If you are just new to the website, first off - welcome; secondly - some background, in the past we did not have our own servers. In order to facilitate discussion, we relied on a third party provider, Boarhost, which was limited but free - the best at the time. Soon after, they got intrusive, so we retired them after... mmm, let see, 5 years, and the new forum area is what you see now.
