Interesting article, why are the blades seemingly reduced in diameter and wider width wise?
Is this a common design factor with ice breakers?
Stubby effect seemingly.
Wonder what the total surface area of " bite " is on the pitch facings versus a normal proportioned equipoise prop?
Further wonder what size/ weight a newly manufactured motor would be for a similar rated output/ speed?
Remembering The Good Old days, when Chiefs stood watches and all Torque settings were F.T.
