Passed away suddenly and tragically, Jason Lewis Bourne of St. John’s formerly of Carbonear, on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.

Leaving to mourn his beloved parents: Sam & Judy Bourne of Carbonear; children: daughter Lisa; son Myles, his best buddy and the joy of his life; brother Douglas (Kathy); little sister Samantha, Jason’s rock (David) Lacey; nephews: Jordan Bourne, Marcus Bourne & Denver Lacey; Nieces: Addison & Gabriella Lacey, Addy & Gabby who loved their Uncle J.J., as they were accustomed to calling him, in their many moments of laugher and fun with him. And also a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and work buddies.

Jason will always be remembered by his close friends, as always joking around with a smile on his face. Jason loved life to the fullest. He loved being outdoors, hiking, fishing, kayaking, gardening and camping. He dearly loved the smell and being around an open fire.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, POWEL DRIVE, CARBONEAR, on Friday: 10:30 A.M. - 12 Noon & 2-5 P.M. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy donations may be made in his loving memory to a charity near and dear to the family.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from St. James Anglican Church Carbonear with interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
