The Strange Saga of RCGS Resolute

Post by JK »

Mia Bennett at the Maritime Executive.com did a lot of work tracking down the background of the hapless ship Resolute and One Ocean Expeditions. There are a lot of people sitting on worthless tickets for their dream cruises that will not happen. I admit to being somewhat blase about the people who save their money for years to go on ships, especially to the poles, because I been there and done it, but when you read of an 80 year old couple who have lost 50k they had saved for years, it is sobering.
The ship is still docked, presumably still running charges up and still with it's 32 crew, in Curacao.
