We are looking for an Engineer in Training with Coordinator or Project experience to join our dynamic team.

Reporting directly to the General Manager the Project Coordinator will be responsible to assist and where appropriate lead in the preparation of comprehensive action plans including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects. He/she will perform various tasks including organizing schedules, risk management, administrative duties, maintaining project documentation, and responding to operations and financial inquiries to internal teams and external clients to ensure consistent high-quality results that align with Canada Pump and Power Corporation core values and strategic plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
Organize, attend, and participate in the stakeholder and kick-off meetings
Documents and coordinates projects into action items amongst teams and sets timeframes as identified from the stakeholder meeting
Provide administrative support as required and helps prepare the budget
Tracks, manages, and reconciles incoming paperwork with applicable departments
Develops project strategies with the Project Manager and undertakes tasks as required
Liaises with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
Assists to analyze and identify project risks and opportunities
Acts as the point of contact and communicates project status to stakeholders
Assists the Project Manager to eliminate and resolve complications
Monitors project progress, budget, and working hours to ensure the project is within scope
Ensure standards and requirements are maintained through quality assurance tests
Updates and maintains the schedule
Ensure all appropriate legal paperwork is in order i.e. contracts and terms of agreement
Communicate daily email reports to the Chief Executive Officer
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Three to five years’ experience in a similar role in the industrial manufacturing and services industries in a multi-site and disciplined field operation
A high school diploma or equivalent; preference given to candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Project Management
‘Can-do’ attitude with proven problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must successfully complete pre-employment screening tests
Superior English language communication and presentation skills with the ability to quickly grasp issues and break them down into workable components
Proficient ability to read, analyze, and interpret general procedures and government regulations
Confident to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, customers, and government office
Computer skills: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel with the ability to create spreadsheets and analyze data

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
