$660 a day - Fixed term contract


ORSI has and urgent requirement for a relief Chief Engineer with first class motors to join the ROV vessel Skandi Vinland offshore Newfoundland for a 14-28 day hitch.

Required Certificates for position:

Valid Transport Canada Seafarer’s Medical
Valid First Class Motor Certificate of Competency
Valid Transport Canada STCW Basic Safety, Survival Craft, and Advanced Firefighting
Valid Marine Advanced First Aid
Valid WHMIS Certificate
Ship Security Officer
DP Maintenance
Seaman’s Book

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14-28 days

Salary: $660.00 per day

Schedule:

12 hour shift

Work Location: Remote

Expected start date: 2022-09-21

Or you can apply through Canship and get a better day rate. Not sure whats going there, but seems like some funny business.

Yeah is the rate 660 per day for a single day ? And you get same home? Making it 1320. Or is it 1000 for a double day? I guess the recruiting firm needs a cut but 320 a day is a big cut?
