The next CIMarE Vancouver Island Branch meeting will take place Thursday February 20 at 7 PM in the lower lounge of the Naden Naval Officers' Wardroom near the dockyard entrance, at 1586 Esquimalt Road.

Guests and spouses are always welcome. Members often arrive early to have a beverage with colleagues in the upstairs lounge before the meeting.

The technical presentation for the meeting is entitled Marine Electrical Standardization. Mr. Ken Harrison and Mr. Steve Spitzer will cover the National Marine Electronics Association digital communication standard in terms of simplifying wiring aboard ships.
