Offshore Recruiting Services Inc. (ORSI) in conjunction with our client, MTS, has immediate openings for a Chief Engineer
Required immediately Chief Engineer with minimum Transport Canada 3rd Class Motors – Preferably with Tug Vessel experience, working out of Hay River NWT in support of the 2022 Western Artic Sealift. Work terms and conditions as per the 2022 ORSI/Canadian Merchant Service Guild (CMSG) Collective Agreement. Interested persons please send resume to with current resume and certificates. REQUIRED Certifications include:
Valid Transport Canada certificate of competency (III/2)
Transport Canada COP STCW Basic Safety
Transport Canada COP Proficiency in Survival Craft
Advanced Firefighting
First aid
Valid Transport Canada Marine Medical
Seamans log book
A definite asset is sailing vessel experience, preferably tug boats.
