Our mission at Qikiqtaaluk Fisheries Corporation is to harvest QC fishing allocations through it's wholly - owned vessel, a multi species factory freezer.

Qualifications:

- Valid certificate of competency as a 4th class engineer Motor ship

- Valid Transport Canada seafarers medical

- Valid passport

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work independently and part of a team

- Reporting to Chief Engineer and / or officer on watch

- Stand engine room watch, monitoring and noting performances and failures.

Experience:

- Experience in offshore fishing / factory freezers would be considered an asset, including but not limited too ammonia refrigeration plants, shrimp / ground fish processing equipment and lo - pressure hydraulic winch's .
